LOOK OUT SYDNEY, the annual "Metal United Down Under" is back for 2020 in full force at Moshpit on the 24th of October!! This event will also be streamed live internationally via "ZENN Stream"!!

This years line up is packed with some of New South Wales finest acts including Acrolysis and Accidental President!!

Metal United Down Under Festival is an event founded by Aussie heavy music agency "Black-Roos Entertainment" shared between multiple cities/towns nation wide to bring the Australian heavy metal family together to celebrate this beautiful thing we all love so much "METAL" all on one night!!

Acrolysis

In 2017, Konstantine Ana (vocals/guitar) would form a band Acrolysis with like minded musicians Amit Bamay (drums) and Mytal Baba (bass). They used it as a medium to express their point of view both political and social. They combined 80s thrash metal with 90s grunge/alternative and punk to create an intense and extreme sound inspired by artists like Metallica, Soundgarden and Dead Kennedys. They hit the stages of pubs and clubs and their sound was defined by their heavy riffs, aggressive sound, quirky vocality and their distinct social awareness. In 2019, they released their debut EP Black Dog’s Serenade, being an impressive first effort from the newcomers and putting their names out there. They would tap into the political zeitgeist and discuss themes of corrupt institutionalism and the influence of media.

Accidental President:

Hard work and passion are the backbones of a successful band and Accidental President fits the bill perfectly. Originally formed in 2015, the group has gone through a long, hard road of ‘Spinal Tap-esqe’ lineup changes and life events that caused a lot of pitfalls in their development. Their passion never slowed though and Accidental President used these challenges as motivation to build something spectacular that is now ready for the world to hear.

The Sydney, Australia based band has formed their own brand of hard rock mixed heavily with goth and metal influences. Adding to their intrigue and performance, Accidental President throws in a theatrical flair to grab all of your senses.
