Darling Vicious

Having outgrown its original intention as a love letter to the darker recesses of Seattle’s grunge movement, Darling Vicious’ music finds its home somewhere between art project, gritty experimental rock band and abstract progressive pop group. Lyrical narrative of nihilism, surrealism and existential crises are sugar coated in meticulous harmony and jagged vocal melodies, built on a foundation of odd-metered drum grooves and divergent bass lines - four musicians playing in a rock band, despite being more often than not, completely disinterested in the conventions of rock music.
Ella Carstein – Guitar/Vocals, Renee Cobcroft – Drums/Vocals, Simon Dawes – Lead Guitar, Andrew Mortensen – Bass

Dr T will be playing with his band The Disorderlies for this show!

International touring and recording musician Dr TAOS is wowing audiences around the world! Fusing Celtic folk with British blues-rock, matured in sunburnt Australian country oak barrels, he has released two albums “Dr TAOS” and “Darkness & Light”, an EP and several singles, to great acclaim, gaining radio airplay worldwide.

Having recently returned from touring Australia, Europe and the USA, both solo and with his band, do not miss his dynamic live shows! Back in the studio in 2020 Dr TAOS has been recording the next new album with his full band and will be releasing the first single “Holy Grail” soon in 2021.

"I have to say that the new album “Dr TAOS” is brilliant. This album is a must get!" Dr TAOS album review - The Songsmith.

“And it is Dr TAOS’ voice that is Dr TAOS’ secret weapon – in all of popular music a strong song, put across by a truly affecting voice is an irresistible one-two punch. Add to this the songwriter singing his own songs, with all the drama, depth and nuance conveyed and that one-two becomes a triple whammy.” Dr TAOS album review - Wordaboutmusic
