Description
Marc with a Sea play a catchy and energetic brand of indie guitar rock, and will be launching their recent Bandcamp release. They’ll be supported by the LangLangs’ twisted take on garage rock ‘n’ roll, and 1978 will get things rolling with a blistering set of your favourite punk/new wave covers.
Marc with a Sea formed in mid 2018 after singer/songwriter Marc Carra decided to put a band together to showcase his music. They cover a range of moods and styles, from up-tempo indie rock to folky tunes, from county ballads to proggy funk, and much more in between. Marc’s uniquely original lyrics are still defying comparison.
The LangLangs’ trademark sound captures the high-energy kicks you get from waking up to find an enemy agent plunging an ice pick into your spleen. Think Dame Joan Sutherland fronting Motorhead, or a hybrid of the Rolling Stones and the Ramones.
1978 are 4 haggard veterans who were cryogenically frozen in the late 70’s, and have now re emerged to bring back the spirit and energy of the late 70s/ early 80s punk and new wave movement with a set of killer covers from bands like The Clash, The Saints, Sex Pistols, Joy Division, The Ramones and many more.
