THE ROYAL COATS // KONTRASTO // MEMORY MOTEL

The Royal Coats come to play their first Sydney show at the Mosh Pit on 21/2/21. After the release of their first single “Strawberry” they’ve bringing their unique sound to Sydney and they’re accompanied by Sydney’s talented Kontrasto and Memory Motel! The Royal Coats have been described as a rock band with catchy riffs and groovy  beats. They released their first single “Strawberry” in early December and have been taking it to the stage all over Newcastle. With the combination of William Dyer Culhane’s grungy vocals and guitar playing, Elijah Robert’s tasty lead breaks, Jack Johnson’s addictive bass licks and Bailey Wade’s groovy drum beats they’re a band you don’t want to miss. Kontrasto are the bastard offspring of Sydney's turbulent & contemptuous rock music scene. A pack of deviant scoundrels intent on wreaking havoc & bashing in your senses. Formed in a grungey Marrickville studio - they are now finally on stage where they belong - rocking & selling out venues. With Damo/bass, Giacamo/drums Juggs/guitar, Kristoff/guitar & Matt/vocals, witness the thumping, grooving, chaos for yourself. MEMORY MOTEL play a mix of dreamy psychedelic and indie rock. Laced with garage rock leads and dream pop ambience. Sydney psych band comprising of singer Ruby Ward with guitarists Angus and Mitch. With Tom on drums and Ben on Bass.
